From New Bern

I have made it to New Bern. Thank you for my friend, Ellen, for keeping up the blog. I have been completely out of it the past couple of days on drugs. Have no clue what I have said or did. So I apologize for any secrets spilled or ugly talk - you have to forgive me.

I know some people have had problems with getting updates from this blog. I have no idea but will try and find out why. In the meantime, just keep looking back at the blog when you can. There shouldn't be that many more updates. All I am doing is starting stupid chemo on Monday. I will let you know how that goes after a couple of days go by.

Right now, I am recovering from Tuesday's surgery. Neck is still a little sore but the pain is getting better. I seem to be tired more but thats probably from all the drugs they like to feed you. I'm a little nervous about the new chemo pill but from what I have read, fatigue seems to be the common side effect. Plus some type of hand/foot dryness.

Mom and Dad have made my place beautiful and very peaceful to relax. Harvey and I are lying around eating and watching basketball. Although I do wish I was normal, sitting outside with my friends in Raleigh, having lunch and beers in the sunshine down at Hibernian. Maybe by summertime! Take Care - Jennifer
