She is eating soft foods (so bring milkshakes!) The hospital tried to feed her shrimp, but she would have none of that. "I hate to be rude," she said, "but I will not eat shrimp at a hospital." Gotta luv her! Her doctor has said that she might go home tomorrow, but she can stay until Thursday so they will make that decision in the morning. She is wearing a soft neck brace while in the hospital bed.
After surgery, she remembered having a dream where she was talking with her girlfriends about some hot guys. Once she woke up, she told the nurses about the dream and they said she had been talking to them about the hot guys. (That must be why she told me she is wearing lipstick right now). Her mom said she didn't stop talking all afternoon.
Her family is planning to take her to New Bern for the weekend.
It is really flattering to realize that under the stress of this surgery and lots of medication, Jennifer could do nothing but dream and speak of me. It truly is amazing how hot I am.
