In the beginning (2006), there was Stage 2B breast cancer. Four years, 6 chemotherapy treatments and new boobs later, I am now continuing my cancer journey with a new diagnosis.
Current situation: breast cancer metastasized to the bones and liver (but I can still drink my glass of wine, with doctor's permission). This sounds serious, but all reports so far have a positive spin to them and I am looking ahead at what needs to be done to annoy you all for another 41 years. I will keep my sense of humor through all of this, and I expect you all to do the same. No tears, please. No cheerleading, no drama.
The purpose of this blog is to inform you all of everything that is going on as soon as it happens, with the assistance of friends and family. My "Breast Friends" are going to help keep the blog current and hilarious. We will all make the best of this situation and get through this together.
I would ask that you all keep me in your thoughts and prayers and a big, beautiful bouquet of flowers never hurts anyone. Thanks in advance!!
